Do Drugged Dragons Dream of Diamonds or Dinner? - February 5, 2021

 - Everyone enters the Mansion and Penny is relaxing in a corner and chuffs in a friendly manner when they come in. 

- Jinorah is passed out, fast asleep having gorged herself on a meat feast.

- The time is around noon.

- They all file back out to talk to Ellilune.

- She claims to have lost her way a bit in the process of trying to rescue the titan Agrexost from the exploitation of the city of Chemendoro and lost sight of the wellbeing of "lesser" life forms.

- There is some discussion about what to do about the titan to either put it back into stasis or to send it to the Plane of Ice

- Zaril has a light bulb moment and Sends to Agrexost, "Sorry about your predicament. We aren’t good for each other. We would like to send you to a place of ice. Is that okay?"

- There's quiet for a beat or two, and then there's a loud cacophonous roar and she can just barely make out, "All will be ice." and she takes 29 psychic dmg.

- Zaril collapses screaming.

- Sariel runs over and immediately casts Regenerate on her for 35 HP of healing. All of Zaril's damaged feathers fall out with a sneeze and are replaced with shiny new ones, but she is very disconcerted by the loss of feathers for a few seconds there.

- They talk about her experience a bit, and decide that maybe if she attunes to the amulet Acta made and Torin modified she will be better prepared to communicate with the creature.

- She attunes to the amulet and she gets flashes in her brain of being too hot, that things are all wrong, that she's angry, she feels restrained but like she will break her bonds soon, but to everyone else she just looks catatonic. 

- Sariel asks Luca for help to carry Zaril into the Mansion where they direct the servants to get a cool bath together.

- The act of bringing Zaril into the Mansion thins her connection with the creature enough that she wakes up before Sariel and Luca can get her into the tub.

- Penny licks her face, and Zaril is a bit put-out about it.

- Zaril steps outside again and isn't overwhelmed completely this time, so she tries to push through her connection to the creature that it needs to calm down and it does seem like the "noise" isn't so loud this time, but it could also just be that she's getting better at dealing with the onslaught inside her head.

- Acta hands Zaril a piece of the brain matter that she stole back in Chemendoro, and she tried to use the amulet to make a connection to that piece of the brain in particular.

- She is not able to connect with the piece of brain. 

- Zaril uses her connection to try to get its attention again, then Sends to it again, "I will visit you with friends. We want to help you get to a place where everything is ice. You should let us."

- She hears back in a forceful blast, "I will escape!" and she takes 36 psychic dmg.

- They give Ellilune a small piece of brain matter as excavated in Chemendoro for her to try to influence with friendly thoughts before they transport into its head and transplant the piece with the good thoughts into its head as a kernel of thought to try to not get them destroyed.

- They borrow a ring from her to use as a teleportation focus and say that they will meet her at her tower in a day or two after they pick up the special backpack for Jinorah (who is still passed out cold inside the mansion and is nearly unresponsive) and get the rock (for a teleportation focus to the bottom of the ocean) from the water elemental.

- Everyone goes to sleep.

- 4,000 XP ea for 200,260 XP total ea.
